San Diego Theatre Educators Association remains in solidarity with  Asian-American Pacific Islander communities and are outraged at the rise of violent attacks and biased incidents against them, including the recent shootings in Atlanta.

We are committed to supporting and uplifting those affected by any form of hate, structural racism, Sinophobia and xenophobia. We are committed to providing safe spaces for our students to explore their craft and express their whole selves without fear. We are committed to supporting theatre educators with a safe platform to discuss these issues, reflect, and take action in education to help end racism.
